Anyone 18+ with a verified email or phone number can book. Students, commuters, and adventurers all use ZuzuRide to save money on intercity trips.

Use the home screen to enter your departure city, destination, and date. You’ll see a list of available rides sorted by time, price, and driver rating.

ZuzuRide uses Stripe to process payments securely. You pay at the time of booking with a credit/debit card — your spot is guaranteed instantly.


Fares are based on trip distance and follow the CRA’s reimbursement guidelines ($0.72/km for the first 5,000 km, then $0.66/km). Drivers are not making a profit, only recovering costs.


Yes. Use our in-app chat to clarify pickup points, luggage space, or anything else before confirming.

Yes! After your ride, you’ll be prompted to leave a star rating and optional feedback. This helps build trust and improve the community.


Yes — cancel directly in the app. Cancellation windows vary by driver (typically 12–24 hours). Some bookings may be non-refundable close to departure time.


You may lose your booking and receive no refund. Frequent no-shows may lead to account flags or suspension.


Each driver only gets one cancellation within 24 hrs before the trip with a valid reason, In case a driver cancels with a valid reason the passenger is notified immediately so they can find another ride.


Yes. We take safety seriously:


  • Driver identity and vehicle info are verified
  • All payments are secure through Stripe
  • Riders and drivers leave reviews after every trip


Tap “Help” in the app or contact support through our e-mail on the website. All reports are reviewed by our moderation team and handled quickly.


Yes. You can review driver ratings, photos, vehicle info, and only book rides that feel comfortable to you.


You pay only the fare shown at booking. There are no hidden fees.


Refunds depend on the driver’s cancellation policy and how close to departure you cancel. You’ll see refund details before confirming your booking.


All major credit and debit cards via Stripe. More options (e.g., Apple Pay) coming soon.


No. However you can see your transaction history in the App.


Usually not, unless you’re booking rides for work-related travel. Always check with your accountant or employer.

Users are able to delete their account permanently,
